Shaheer Sheikh is playing the role of Anant in the Star Plus’s new show Navya. Anant is a 19 year old college boy. He is modernized in his looks but keeps traditional thoughts in his mind and respects his family views and wants to marry a girl chosen by his parents. Meanwhile he meets a girl Navya (Soumya Seth) in college and she is also his classmate. First, they hesitate to talk with each other but after sometime they become good friends. Over the time their friendship changes in to love and moves the story ahead.
