Adah Sharma was born on May 11, 1989 and she is a Bollywood actress .Her first film 1920 directed by Vikram Bhatt was released in the year 2008. As an adolescent, Adah Sharma wanted to do too many things. She eventually found a profession where she could fulfill her dream.

That profession is acting – where she daubs the greasepaint and gets to play varied characters that she once dreamt of being, be it a housewife or a model or an architect or a vet.

Coming from a non-filmi background, it wasn’t easy for Adah to get her foot in the door to Bollywood. Her father is in merchant navy and her mother is a Yoga instructor. Adah did her schooling from a convent school and graduated in psychology from Mumbai University.

Though Adah had been getting film offers for quite some time, things did not fall in place until Vikram Bhatt’s '1920' in which she makes her Bollywood debut opposite Rajneesh Duggal. Looking back, Adah sees her struggle from a philosophical perspective. She says she auditioned for various other projects but ‘1920’ turned out to be her first film because that is how it was destined to be.

Adah was born in Palakkad district of Kerala and hails from a non-film background. Her father is a captain in the merchant navy and her mother is a dancer. Adah did her schooling from Auxilium Convent in Pali hill where she also lives.[citation needed] She is a gymnast and is currently completing her graduation in Kathak from Gopi Krishna’s Dance Academy..

Adah Sharma made her cinematic debut 1920 after which she signed few brands such as Limca, Nokia, Olay natural white, Joyalukkas Jewellery and Parachute Hair oil

Adah Sharma's acting in the film 1920 earned her rave reviews with Bollywood film critic Taran Adarsh praising her performance saying "Adah gets the meatier part and she takes to it like a fish takes to water. She's excellent!"[2] while Times of India's reporter Nikhat Kazmi commented "Adah Sharma delivers a consummate, skillful performance. She rolls up her eyes, speaks like a man, flings people around, eats raw flesh, crawls up pillars and generally keeps you glued to your seats.[3]
